Where is the spark plug?

I am going to replace my spark plug soon but where is it? i think i know where it is, is it usually like on the front part on top of the motor? and there is like a black covering over it with a thick wire going somewhere? the cover is kind of shaped liek an L? i think that is it, so if so, how do u replace this? Do u just pull the plug out of the engine, take the plug out of whatever it's in and put the new one in the same way?

yea you take the black cover off it then screw the spark plug out then replace it or what ever then put the cover back on.
