X-1 transmission oil

What kind of oil should I use in a non-cvt X-1 tranny?

use 80w90 gear oil, if you know anybody that has worked on cars, they should have it, i bought some not knowing my dad had it in the garage already

So, the maybe obvious next question is how much? Fill it all the way up, 1/2 way, just a little?
