any reed mess up your bike......my bike run a shetty! we put 3 bike here with reed installed all of are running slowwww.....i suggest REED is not compatible with stock CARB!! ...pwe!!!! ADA its a good Company the only thing i disappoint is the reed EVERYTHING ELSE IS AWSOME!!

Well aztig i suggest that if the reeds dont work, then you either:

1. pull them out, or
2. get an aftermarket carbie.

As freddie said Take them out put the original ones in and run the bike see if it makes a difference?
Both Freddies and My bike run the ADA reeds and I've not got any complaints at all.
The timing advance key on the other hand makes the motor hard to start and eventually breaks.
I put my old key back in...No probs

Tuning these engines is an incremental process. Don't expect to just pour $$ into it and beat everyone.
