New Here ! Just bought a BIKE !

Hey guys, I would just like to introduce myself. I'm Shootza from Toronto, and I just recently purchased a brand new Silver X1 pocket bike.

I have read the section threads in the Pocket Bike FAQ forum, however I gotta admit that I'm a bit confused. I know that these bikes are nothing great outa the box, but I want to make it quick but also RELIABLE.

So what do you guys recommend I do first to this X1 ?
I haven't driven it yet, so is there anything I should do besides tightening all the screws and bolts ?

And what should my first mod be ?

I have read some of the posts in this forum about the X1, but again I really don't know what a lot of these parts look like that you guys talk about.

Any info is much appreciated, I'm sorry for being a NOOB but I guess I gotta start somewhere.

Welcome to the forums.
Try New Exhaust.
New carb w/ airfilter
and a rocket key to start.

A boostbottle also will give u more preformance.

Rocket Key to start? WHA?

Changing the timing is only to be done on motors that have all the other mods, and are turning into the top of the engines RPM band.


First mod? LOSTEN THE CHAIN. 2nd mod? Adjust the brakes. Do the bolt-on stuff as you can afford, starting with the pipe. (Super Pipe is what I prefer)

But what about the CARB, how do I tune it ? :cool:
should I wait to break in the bike before I tune anything ?

And what's up with the breaks what do I need to do to them ?

anyone who can help me, please post somthing, I think on the front tire the break pad rubs on the wheel, how do I fix it ? :(
