I have just installed the ADA Racing Billet Reed Cage Assembly, WT-603 Carb kit and an ADA Racing Air filter.
Everything is nice and tight, with the intial settings being:
Idle Screw - All the way clockwise
Low Screw - 1 1/4 turns out (counter-clockwise from closed)
High Screw - 2 turns out (counter-clockwise from closed)
I can get the bike started and I can get it running, but the problem is:
Once the bike is running it will idle for about 2 - 3 mins then die. If I take it for a run, there is little acceleration and no high end, but the mid range seems fine. This is puzzling the hell out of me now. I have adjusted the Low screw to get the idle just perfect, stuck it in the car, got to the track and the damn thing wouldn't idle when i got there, infact it was a right pain in the *** to start.
Please any help would be appreciated.
