I got the 49cc motor Cat-Eye Style and want to install the NGK Plug. I have found 2 different #'s on web sites that will fit but would like to know the correct one to use. The #'s I found are BM6A and BM7A.
Also does anyone know the stock size of our carburetor for these motors.

Thanks
Ron

The NGK BM6A plug puts out a hotter spark then the NGK BM7A. So if your engine is running a little rich or wet with oil, and your carb is tuned this can help a little to clean it out. Most common plug used is the NGK BM7A, Both plugs will work for the 49cc engine and will not hurt it.

As for the Carb. it depends on which generation of engine that is in your cateye 49cc bike. The only way to know is to take measurement of the carbs bore and venture in mm. Hope this helps you.
