i recently bought a 49cc catseye.. and for some reason the motor dies when i go full throttle with the choke wide open. the carb is gettin fuel from the line. i dont know whats up. any suggestions?

you should never go full throttle on a new bike. give the engine time to be broken in.
go through about 3-4 tanks of gas before you rev it to max rpm's

This perks my interest. I've broken in MANY 2-stroke engines. I've operated MANY of them, (to high hours and milage) at WOT. Granted I do not make it a habit of sustained WOT operation, but enough to cause the motor to hit "normal operating temp" without overheating. Proper heat cycles are important to correct motor "wear-in"...
GOD I hate the term "Break-in". Your not supposed to break anything... :bigl
