Mini Maddness

I just got smoked tonight by a backyard exhaust ported 40.2mm engine. The driver has an ada reed, timing key, clutch springs, and has bored his carb to 14.5mm. He also weighs 40lbs. more than I do. I can't look at him top-end. I have a 17:1 ADA big bore boosted compression kit, ADA reed cage, Walbro carb kit, Boost bottle, timing key, and clutch springs. His bike revs like crazy and does not miss a beat on top-end (absolutely no sputter). How can I get the revs up in my engine? The only stock item left on my bike is the exhaust, however, I am running a straight tip which seems to have improved it a little. I should not be losing to this bike. If I need a performance pipe, which pipe will increase my revs the most? Any other ideas? Hard to justify everything I have done to my bike when that bike comes from behind and makes me look like I am going backwards.

wow that sucks dude. After spending all that money in those parts, and now your losing to that kid. dang. my suggestion is that you play around with the trans and adjust the carb a little. Thats all i can say. Thats what i think could be wrong , idk though cause i got a diff pb then you . Well good luck.
