I know how silly this must sound to all you veteran pocket bike enthusiast, but I would like to know what is a TOP-END Speed and a LOW-END Speed. Can anyone differrentiate the two and break it down to simpler words that I could understand. Thank you for your help.

Top end speed... the upper top speed of the bike
Low end speed... the acceleration or punch from zero to say around 20.
Often when some modifications are made (such as a gearing change) you will get one better than the other. If you gear up, your top speed will increase, but accleration will be less. If you gear down, your acceleration will increase, but top speed will be less.
And no, its not a silly question, its a good one. The only dumb questions are the ones that dont get asked.
