i got a 49cc cateye pocket bike. the only mod i have is a rocketkey. i was wondering wat would be a really cheap upgrade for better aceeleration but with out losing that much top speed.

80$ from a friend but it was in really bad condition. i had to buy new carb, pistin rings, crank case ,flywheel, reweld a bunch of stuff, pull start.

how good are boost bottles? i've heard they increase acceleration, but dont know how they perform, any one have one, i thought about buying one.

it says i need to drill into my intake or get pre drilled one is this hard to do my self. i dont have enough money for predrilled so is it hard.

im not completely sure bout the boost bottles but i watched my friend install one on his goped and he had to drill a small hole in the intake for the hose from the boost bottle. He said that the drilling was hard if you have not done it before. And i heard that its hard to manage the throttle control after you use it (idk how, i just heard that). But i was on ebay yesterday and they run from like 5$ to like 100$.

i think im going to order the 5$ 1. it says it will increase my top speed from 3 to 10 mph and acceleration a bunch.

im not sure wat the best pipe is for an X1. i got a cateye with stock pipe that i moded alittle. but i would try ebay. and yaeh i tell u guys how it works

lol, i agree. i live in elkhart indiana in basically the middle a nowhere. And i see that there is only like six active people on this site.

i live in lincoln nebraska and theres like nobody to ride with and i always get introuble with the cops

lol, theres like 2 other kids with pocket bikes, but there too scared to go out ridin cuz they dont want to get pulled over. i some times ride with the guys on 50's, but cant really keep up since they have manual clutches

i've been working on it so i cn ride this week cuz it sposed to be like 70 all week, and i cant get the new carb to work right, so im gunna switch back to stock and run the performance filter, untill i can get some money to take it to a shop, and i never do that. i can usually fix things my self.

and also today the front gear sprocket fell off!! :mad:

i hear you my exhaust broke today. it broke write were it bolts on to the head. But today fabercated a new peace and welded it on because i dont no were the original one fell off at.. And for some reason after i get the motor warmed up it starts vibrating or shaking real hard when i accelerate but once i get it up to like 10 mph it takes off fine. sry about the carb and sprocket. hope u figure it out. and its going to be a nice week for ridin.

none of these rich kids understand the true meaning of riding, they gte the really expensive bikes, and then wast them riding circles around they're yard cuz they dont want to get pulled over :D

do u guys stunt ur bikes. like do wheelies and stopies and stuff. because im the only one i ride with who does. Some of my friends just ride in small driveways because there also scared.

yep, all i do is stunt, totally converted my bike for it too, but looking 4 more horsepower so i can do better sit downs. to bad we cant all gte together and ride sometime. hey, btw, what all stunts can you guys doo? sounds like a conversation to me! :D

i can ride wheelies a half a block. i can do stopies for a little bit but not long andi love to smoke my tires. and some other things i dont no the names for but ill trie to get the names and pics. wat kind of nike do u guys got. i got a cateye. i just wish i had a hand clutch that would be sweet. somebody needs to make a kit for that.

i sometimes do stunts but not always becuase my bike always breaking down everytime i stunt i can do whellies and stomp on my front break make my bike go up then down a do a huge brunout and donuts are always fun i should put a wheelie bar on my bike then i can always ride on 1 tire lol :bigl

you should say what didnt i do lol, umm i took all unneccesary plastics of, the only plastics i have on is the gas tank cover, and seat section, ill try to post some pics. i adjusted the breaks to handle stoppies, but its hard to explain how i did. i took out the whole electrical system to reduce weight, lowered the psi a bit in my rear tile for better balance, i had bike pegs on the rear accel but took them off. and im gunna buy a new smaller rear sprocket, and also, you want to have a super soft rear suspension if you have one. :D

I got the boost bottle and it works! It was pretty easy to install and now my bike is faster and alot more acceleration. If i were u all i would get one because there onle 20$ with shipping. it onley took took 5-6 days to ship. i love it :bigl

hey i just clocked my bike with a flat it went 34km an hour and thats preety good for a crappy bike im happy with that but im going to clocked it witha a new tire again today

today i was going like 30 doing a wheelie and rode it for a while and then went back to far and i had to slam on the back breaks. i thought i was a goner. but im fine just rists heart a bit

id save your money because that thing is going to keep breaking down on you i got the same bike and its always breaking down unless mines just like that did u scracth the paint put some pics up

probly cuz the gas is taking longer to atomize untill your bike heats up. then the gas atomizes faster

yes the boost bottles are awesome. it was 6 dollars and then shipping was 14.05$ on ebay.. it helped acceleration a bunch and added about 5-7 on top speed and it not hard to install. the only thing that might be hard is the drilling in the intake. if u no what ur doing its simple. if u decide to get it u can ask me questions on installing it if u need help
