and my pocketbike isnt running again. im getting an x6. 110cc 4 stroke. im getting tired of this 2 stroke breaking down soo much.

hey im gonna order a dual boost bottle but i heard that all they do is leen the fuel mixture and stuff out and it can wreck ur engine. by that i mean it burns out ur engine. Is this true?

i dont think so all it does is takes vapors and store it and give a sudden bosset but im not exalty sure id ask cateye49 and wuts ur real name cateye

ya all it does is store pre vaporized fuel atoms so when you hit the throttle it burns faster. nos blows your engine. i think the boost bottle actually will give your engine a longer life since the fuel is pre vaporized, it doesnt cause as much wear and tear in your piston, piston rings, or even the head block. :D

i've always wanted to drop a 13 hp briggs and stratton in mine :bigl , do some fancy sitdowns with all that power, but it would be so heavy. what size motors does honda make (the one your talking about) and if possible, i would try to gte a 4 stroke, way more reliable. :D

someday i want to cut and make my frame longer and sronger and drop a 125cc engine in with a big bore kit to make it 150cc. i sall this one guy do it awile ago but cant remeber th esite. it was freaking sweet topspeed 90-100.

hey guys i heard fron anthor fourm you can makes a bosset bottle. they dont know how but they said its in pocketbikeplanet.com so every1 start looking it under the how to sections and they said it works the same so start looking

most that you buy off ebay are pvc pipe with 2 sealed caps and a drilled fitting on the end. but they still work as good as metal ones.

WHY SHOULD YOU MAKE A BOOST BOTTLE? FOR ONLY ABOUT $10 YOU CAN IMPROVE YOUR THROTTLE RESPONE AND ACCELARATION.

HOW TO: MAKE A BOOST BOTTLE FOR YOU 2 STROKE POCKET BIKE

1:1ST YOU NEED TO GO TO YOUR LOCAL HARDWARE STORE AND GET MATERIALS.

MATERIALS


2 FITTINGS SMALL ENOUNG TO FIT IN A CAN AND YOUR MANIFOLD WITH THREADS ON BOTH SIDES. I GOT MINE AT HOME DEPOT FOR $1 A PEICE.
LARGE TUBING LINE THAT WILL FIT ON YOUR FITTINGS. YOU WILL PROBABLY FIND IT IN THE SAME AREA AS THE FITTINGS. I GOT MINE AT HOME DEPOT FOR $3 FOR LIKE 6 FOOT OF LINE
YOU WILL ALSO NEED A BOTTLE SUCH AS A METAL ARESOL CAN. DO NOT USE PLASTIC.THE GAS AND THE FUMES WILL EAT RIGHT THROUGH IT. I USED A LYSOL CAN AND IT WORKED GREAT.
YOU ALSO NEED A DRILL BIT A LITTLE BIT SMALLER THAN THE FITTINGS.AND A TAP TO DRILL YOUR THREADS.
2: AFTER YOU GET YOU MATERIALS YOU CAN START BUILDING IT. FIRST YOU WANT TO TAKE THE TOP OFF OF YOUR CAN AND DRILL A HOLE WITH YOUR BIT. THEN TAP IT AND SCREW IN YOUR FIRST FITTING.

3: THEN YOUR REPEAT THE SAME STEP ON THE INTAKE MANIFOLD BUT ANGLE YOUR FITTING TO WICH EVER SIDE YOU ARE MOUNTING YOUR BOOST BOTTLE. THIS WILL HELP THE TUBING NOT TO PINCH AND LET NOTHING IN OR OUT.

4: NOW YOU CAN MOUNT YOU BOOST BOTTLE. WHEN DOING THIS MAKE SURE YOUR TUBING IS POINTED DOWN AND YOUR BOTTLE IS HIGHER THAN THE INTAKE MANIFOLD SO THAT THE AIR AND GAS MIXTURE THAT IS SUCKED IN CAN BE PUSHED OUT EASILY. I MOUNTED MINE MINE ON THE SIDE OF MY FRAME NEXT TO MY GAS TANK BEHIND MY BATTERY. MOUNT IT WITH 2 STRONG ZIP TIES.

5: NOW JUST CUT YOU TUBING TO THE RIGHT LENGTH AND SLIDE IT IN. THEN YOUR READY TO HIT THE STREETS AND SEE HOW MUCH MORE THROTTLE RESPONSE AND ACCELARATION YOU GET.

THIS PROJECT SHOULD ONLY COST YOU ABOUT 10$ AND ADD ALOT OF THROTTLE RESPONSE AND ACCELARATION.

huh, never thought of using an aresol can, but it seems like it could blow up in your face if you drilled it. i've heard of people using shampoo bottles and stuff though. but im sure most are still made out of pvc pipe, and the gas and fumes wont degrade it.

yep, i kno how u feel, especially since its been 70 to 80 degree weather here for the last week. but i got a job, and start spring break, so im gunna sell my chopper and get an x6, and fix my pocket bike and keep it for stuntin.

i got my bike begning of last summer and i first had to get a new pullstart and pullstart assemble. then i had to get new crankcase then new pisting rings then new carb then i thought i had it completed but then my flywheel was all cracked so had to get that.all brake cables were bad and had to fix those transmition was all cracked had to reweld all that. and now finally it runs but today i was riding and throttle got stuck wide open. it was fun :bigl

wd40 works, get the line good, you might have to take it apart, is there any kinks in the throttle cable? or is it pinched anywhere?

its not a license so there are restrictions, its a permit you can get when your 15 and a half, as long as the bike is 250cc and under, no passengers, and no riding at night unless going to work or school or coming home from work or school, and the vehicle has to be registered if it is over 50cc
your local laws may differ, im in st. louis

lol i got a boost bottle right here on my desk, just collecting dust...I would sell it for like 30$ but I dont really use ebay or none of that so yea...I installed it on my pocketbike, and the thing doesnt turn on anymore...Its soo bad that i have to send to a shop. And it was ever since i put that bottle on that bad stuff has happened to it. Yea so, i wouldnt recomend the boost bottle. If i were you id get a juice box from ada to be safer. With the money you pay for a boost bottle you can buy a new motor lmao. Idk not really worth it

id just like to mention a boost bottle will wreck your motor a hell of alot faster it burns alot hotter when you hit the shot and makes the piston work hard but for the price of parts its all worth it

just do a tiny tiny bit less at a time, to less, your motor will run too hot and could burn up, a good way to tell is a lot of black smoke from your tail pipe

only put a very little bit in at a time untill it gets right, other wise your bike will get all gummed up and wont start at all

wat kinda bike did you race? his bike is probly broken in very well, and you may not know it but he could have a big bore and most of the times you dont notice. did you lose anything? (i.e. money, your bike, etc.)

no i couldnt have its my old bike and he just smoked me itsprobley because his bike is broken in well like u said and can it wreck your bike if you run it on halh choke becuase mine seems to have more power when i run it on half choke. i didnt lose anything i was lucky i was about to put in 20$ but i half to break mine good now

kevin its sopposed to be 30 thousandths, and pocket bike boy if u still have the old intake try puttiong it back on with out the boost bottle and see if it works then, if it does work i dont no wat would be wrong with it, u could maybe ASK THE PLACE U GOT IT FROM. good luck to both of you.

thats about as big as a tooth pick, or the width of the wire of a paper clip, something around that size

i think its called a thelar gage, it has all different sizes on . u should be able to get it at a hardware store or car parts store.
tell me if im wrong about the thelar gage.

hey i was racing my pocketbike and i wrecked it i ripped the back sprocket out and broke the bolts in the wheel so i tryed to drill them out and i made to big of a hole.lol now i need a new back wheel any1 no if i can get it from a hardware store. because there 75 bucks each and i really dont want to spend that much.

eh where is everybody?? But ya anyways i got a question for yah. if you have boost bottles do you have to run your bike on a certain fuel ratio for it to work? Cause mines not working..lol:D:D

lol...well its not starrting that easy and it wont stay running it just boggs out after i run it for like 1 minute then it wont start again for awhile.

it should be very tight. if anything i would unscrew the brass fitting that goes into the intake and put some super glue or sealer or something on it and screw it back in and let it sit for a day or 2.

hey my freind bought a used pocketbike that ran fine but now every time u start it and let it sit it starts to idle high by it self so u give it gas and its fine and then sometimes it shuts off.

any idea wut it could be

i just adjusted the idel screw and it was fine.

im pissed off, i know cateyes are **** but i only clocked my bike doing 20. and i got boost bottle and a rocketkey and only 20mph. and like stock cateyes go around 30
