hi everyone i have a 47cc pocket bike and it hasn't been started in about a year to a year and a half. We tried to start it with the old gasoline in there but when it didn't work we siphoned it all out and put in brand new fuel. We tried absolute everything to get it to work but absolutely nothing would do it. We checked the fuel lines,l spark plug, electric supply to the spark plug, and all nuts and bolts were properly fastened. I don't have a air filter on it now(its the style with a round bar between the air filter and rear tire so my new filter i bought didn't work. I also took of the choke so could that have something to do with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated :(

your using 2 cycle fuel right? you also probly need to check the casing and piston and rings, after a while of no use the fuel in them binds up and they stick like glue.

i just tried quick start and the engine runs but only rujns for about 2 seconds on the quick start fluid. I have figured out that gas is not getting into the carburetor. I took it apart, cleaned it, and put it back together and still the same problem. anybody have any help?
