Cateye 49cc Bike dying on me!!! HELP!

Hey, so i just got this cateye pocket bike from a friend a few weeks ago. It was missing a fuel line so i bought a new one. It ran fine for the first day. Then it started loosing power. it would run, but once you gave it some throttle it would stall out. I used this 'gunk out' crap in the carb (dont know how much that did), changed the spark plug, and i put fresh fuel/oil mix in and it ran for about a minute and died on me again. I tried messing with the regulator a bit but the damn thing doesnt run long enough for me to adjust it properly. The lights seem to be working so i dont' think its a battery problem. Any Ideas??? :(

probly burnt pistons or sumthin. try some starter fluid :confused:

man wuts up with quick start i would pull the spark pluf out and take a liter to it for 2 minutes and give it a cuople yanks and then put the plug back in. or it could be a simple thing and just keep pull starting it untill the gas gets to the motor. sometimes it doesnt run becuase it hasent been started it a while. mine did that when i didnt start it for 4 days but after 4 pulls the gas got to it and ran fine. make sure u warm it up real good before every use

lol dunno i give up. kevin- you and me should start a thread about how to repair pocket bikes, cuz im kinda gettin tired of all these new post about how "my bike doesnt run" and like make a new post every day about a different common problem.
