New member here Please help!!!!!

Hello all i have been on here the last few day trying to find my problem, I have tried all that I can with no results so now I need help...

I have bought a pocket bike for my son from a guy in the paper,it is a 49cc 2/cycle china bike..that is all i know..The bike starts fine always the first time during the day, can ride it idles fine, however after I turn it off I can not get it re started...I have the mixture screw turned to two turns out and running a mixture of about 35/1...any thoughts would be great

i think mixture is saposed to me 25/1 thats wutever 1 else is running but that still cant be why your bike wont start maybe your getting to much fuel and flooding it does it start the next morning if so that mean your getting to much fuel and u need to adjust your carb

Yes it will start the next day, like I said the first start can run it for about 30 min and then if I kill it it wont start... the reason i am running 35/1 is I was thinking the mixture was the problem, and it seemed like every one else was running about 40/1....what do you mean adjust the carb, the only adjust is the mixture screw.. I have it set to two turns out. if I go in any more than that it chokes... any help?

you know how theres like a cup thing at the bottom of the carb you have to take all the gas out and open the bottem and there will be a white thing in there it will fall out and u will see 2 forks just sitting there bend them down a little.

then take the spark plug oput and take a litter to it for a about 3mins and with the spark plug out give it a some yanks then put it back in and try starting it

remember to do this after u rode it and where do u live

OK, are you talking about where the prime bubble is? I live in IL.

im not sure because my bikes different alls i know every carb has a lil round thing at the bottom

u may want 2 check 4 spark it might have a week coil and when it heats up the spark gets week but still strong enough 2 run untill its shut off

hey the problem could be that when your trying to start it u could be giving it to much gas try to start it with out holding the gas
