"best bang for the buck" is a hp air filter, low price=good performance. a BPM7A NGK plug goes great with the hp filters and the shapes and sizes of the filters dont efect the performance, you get the one that fits your bike but if you want a truely good air filter, go with the billet one.. awsome, kinda looks like a mini musket though.. still cool though, wait, did PBU make the billet air filter?

is that a velocity stack? if so, i just took of your choke late, put on velocity stack then the air filter, what you do for a choke though is put a bag with a very tiny hole around the air filter and do the regular steps with starting and youll see the bag get sucked right around the air filter, showing its gonna start and as soon as you hear it quickly pull the bag off reving it and your off.. never leave home with out a bag because its impossible to start with out one.. take to the tracks or on the road with you..
