Giovanni 49cc pocket, on its last break in tank 50/1, air filter brand new.
Then it started stalling after it was turned off cooling off after a mile when it first started happening. First thing I noticed was it bogged out and would only idle, hit throttle again it would try to shut off. Then after readjusted idle and mixture to spec, i would go 10-100 feet and the throttle would just die and kept dieing after a short sprint weather i played with the throttle or not.
Sometimes it would catch itself at idle and could restart but would never go to its half its top speed, and then just die out of no where.
I?ve tuned it and leaned it way out seems to run better backed off 3 turns but after that it will not start at all without 1/8th turn of throttle, even after adjusting idle.

So today I mixed 25/1 with 93/112 50/50, had a lot more balls but after it warmed up started the stall on take off 10ft to 100ft max

I?m leaning toward carb is just a total p.o.s

Any idea?s? Don?t want to dump more money into this thing if I don?t have to. But im about to get a walbro carb and pray it fixes it if no one can help. Detailed intrustions would be best if at all possible

forgot to add, i think its running out of fuel in the carb, like it just stops flow rarly will it run for 1/2 mile thn just bog out and stall or catch at idle like it has to wait for fuel to cath up.

my neighbor has one said he had same issue. backed the fuel cut off plate on his and it fixed it. i tried it on mine , didnt do anything for me. is there a way i can remove it totally, like a block off plate?

its cuz it a giovanni, no offense but those arent the most reliable bikes. well i really dont know what to tell you now, i am going to have to sit and think on it for a while before i can figure out whats happening. are you getting enough spark and compression?

ya has spark and seems to have compression if it will idle when its cold

I did get it to idle by richening the fuel

by chance what is the best pocket bike?

i was told this bike was one of the best

it depends what kind of bike you are interested in, i would say the best of the minis are blata, but those will run you a couple grand.

I bored out the gas tank feed see if i cant get more flow into the carb

you might have pieces of plastic stuck inside the fuel filter, either buy a new one or clean out your gas tank real good

well then thats prolly your problem, pieces of plastic are going thru your fuel line, tke the fuel lines out and clean then, or flush them out, maybe some water then an air hose will work

did that last night no help

i think the float is sticking because it does run out of gas after i rev it up sometimes, but always run out when i put a load on it after it start it up
