http://www.minipocketrockets.com/x7-super-pocket-bike/ so my friend got one of these a few weeks ago and i thought it would be a bad idea t the time. the reason i thought so is i figured it would be a pos like the one you can buy at the flea market. i was lookin at it and it seems pretty sturdy. so i was wonderin what you guys think? im mainly posting here because my mom thinks ill throw caution to wind while im driving it and run into a wall head on at 35 MPH. so i just wanna see what you guys think on quality and safety.
ps. don't say anything my mom might not like cuz she is gonna read this :D

I'm gonna be honest here mom so listen up. As long as your son wears a helmet and doesnt try any crazy stunts he should be fine. If you are worried about him getting hurt also try knee pads and elbow pads however in general these are safe on neighborhood streets. Just do the speed limit unless you take it out to the track and watch for cars.

well she still isn't convinced. my mom now thinks that if i get caught riding one the police will take it away and pack me off to a juvenile detention facility. when i called the non emergency hot line they said it would be fine if its on the side walk. so has anyone had any run ins with the law where pocket bikes are concerned? wow this is becomeing a long string of questions. i hope you guys don't mind

they wont put u in juvi, i have been pulled over but they dont do anything but tell you to put it up for a while, i even got caught goin 70 in a 30, got pulled over, and the cop thought my bike was cool and told me not to get caught. lol but ive been pulled over a few times, no tickets ever written or anything, they just tell you to take it home. i think you will be ok if u stayed on the sidewalk, or parking lots, if it is on private property they cant do anything unless the people who own the lot want to press charges.
