First of all: Hello! I've been lurking the forums and absorbing information - and i thank all of those who've contributed great info, it got me back on my bike :)

Ive scoured this and every website i could on the issues related to the use of N20 (nitrous oxide) - i recently picked up a x2 seris bike, and added a quick n' dirty setup of nos (total cost just about $20 from scratch).

it's the standard dry setup, but now ive run into a problem. after my first 8gram cylinder of N20, hardly 4 shots (1 second burst), the bike started t0 back fire on my ride home, and when i drop from a high speed to a low speed (just release the throttle) it begins to backfire.

no other engine issues - when it starts, it'll back fire a bit, and at idle, a backfire will turn it off too.

Does anyone have any experience with these or other issues after setting it uP?

and (so not to start another thread) Question 2:

I got a wt-603 carb (or a knock off, there are no part numbers on it, just three irrelevant letters) and after putting it on, while priming, fuel was leaking out of the return line fitting - i know it's not normal, but is it self reparable? the fitting goes into plastic, so im afraid if i twist it it'll break off...
otherwise im taking it back to the dealer who sold it to me.

THANKS IN ADVANCE !

Ok man 1.first off i bet u connected it to ur direct manifold and (w/ no boost bottle)- boost bottle just helps a little cause fresh air helping the NOS mix Well. 2. The only possibility it could have on your carb was it wasnt mixing well enough(but wouldnot cause backfire(and u should connect it to the front of your air filter if it like the nos kit from
(www.boostbottleindustries.com) ---ANYWAYS--- It is somthing inside your cylinder head, Get your crank checked and see if your tranfer ports arent deformed and check the whole piston setup- im positve thats it man(Im sure)
--So If u want good nos get it from the boost bottle place, hook it to your airfilter front(hopefully hp) NOT YOUR MANIFOLD, attach a bost bottle or juicebox for good air mixture- and try to purchase a real walbro carb- knock offs tend to bog from bad machining due to mass replicating

P.S. If u next day it i can definetly fix that - Maybe give it a small port to handle that NOS
P.S.S. Do a duel nos kit and dont tap it its on shot pop- if u press it 4 seperate times u can screw your cylinder components up
