(new Motor Break In)

I just got a new piston for my g230 and its nickle coated. what is the best way to break in a new motor. :confused:

For New piston: Run about 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank going no more then 3/4 throttle and varying throttle posistion. On your first session, do not ride the ped, just run it off the ground for five min. then let cool completely for a heat cycle.

For new motor: Run about 1 to 1 1/4 of a tank going no more then 3/4 throttle. Run at max 15 min sessions. On your first session, do not ride the ped, just run it off the ground for five min. then let cool completely for a heat cycle.

if its not possible on a big bore cylinder is it ok to run fully sythetic oil. because thats what i have left and no where to put the left over. becuase i heard u need to run non sythetic to break in the bbk. thanks for the help.

Don't break your back to run non syn. It's not that important.

o ok well im running AMSOIL and its all i have right now so its gonna have to do!!!!!:(
