If I understand correctly they are a bit weaker but lighter.

Yes, they are just as good, but a different design. But, we never made +1mm billet strokers. They all were +2mm billet strokers. And yes, they were heat treated, just not as hard as the new Superior strokers.

Brooks, You dont happen to have any pics of the old billet crank do ya? MastaZ: Im starting to think you dont have a stroker. How many gaskets were below the cylinder when you took it apart??

Nope, we never made a +1mm stroker. Does your crank look exactly like the pic I posted? Is it a full circle with the holes through it? If it doesn't look exactly like that one, then it is not an ADA stroker.

I've had that motor in my hands, its NOT an old ADA crank.
Just for the record, I LOVE my old school ADA crank, in my eyes the best ped crank ever... Full circle, billet, and light as hell.

That is a stroker crank but not an ADA.

How come ADA doesn't make the old style stroker cranks? Everyone who I have talked to said they're way better than the superior ones.

The billet ones were too expensive and time consuming to make. Plus, the Superior ones are better. They are harder, stuff the cases more for higher primary compresion, and they make just as much power. There, now not everyone says the billet ones are better:)
