Here's an engine from about 4 or 5 years ago, before the G230RC. This is a G23LH with a stroker and a prototype billet cylinder w/4 transfer ports. Plus, notice how the ignition timing is adjustable, by mounting it on slotted holes to the fan cover. Unfortunately, we could never find anyone to plate the cylinders at a reasonable cost, as the companies that do Nikasil? wanted $125-175 just to plate the cylinder!

I just happened to come across this engine today while looking for something else in the shop and thought it might be interesting to show.

Nah, its still a 4 transfor port cylnder with no angle plug, it would have the same reliability as any g230rc. And that fancover thing with the ignition timing, Trevor simpson just came out with something like that.

That thing is awsome.. I remember when my friend had like a super fast lh but he made it into a bigbore now!

it looks like your trying to copy tevor simson idea of the ajustable timeing on the fan cover

Jeeez you guys say that ada was copying TS idea about the adjustable timming but ada came out with it on a prototype several years ago before the rc and Im pretty shure TS just recently came out with the adjustable timming. But wow this thread just made me think about my old Lh.

We have never made or planned to make an adjustable timing fancover available to the public. It is an idea that is used in many other areas of motorsports and is just something that I fooled around with on our race peds years ago. Trevor has done a nice job adapting the idea to the scooter industry. What these engines realy need though is a completely redisigned charging race ignition with an adjustable timing curve. Then you guys would really be drooling.:D
