PMW is coming out with a scooter kit that is very similar to what ADA has been working on for the past few months... it's funny how we are just now hearing about this. ADA had a great idea, and now PMW is going to profit off of it, i'm sorry, but it just doesn't seem right.

its hard to say, but it probably was ADA's idea first, but PMW had more time and money to put it in action first and got to the finish line first :( :( ..all i gotta say is now u have to come out with something bigger and better

I know for a fact that it was ada's idea first. Pmw just had everything made and ready to go in their supply area. Ada is still getting superior products ready and made before they make their final release of there superior kit. I bet you that ada's kits will be far more "superior" and cheaper then pmw's. All it is, is some competition for ada to prove their product is far "superior."
Coast ped and Gss have 5 of these ada superior kits for our practice bikes. We will be supporting these products at all races we attend and at all practices that we have.
After taking them out of their packaging we notice how great these kits are. We have been using the superior products on our personal bikes and have noticed how great they are.
Good work ada and thanks for the great scooter kits and all the support you have given us! We will do all we can to promote and show everyone how great of a company that you are. We support you 100%.

A good idea is a good idea . Now there are at least 2 great choices to build a new scooter exactly the way you want it.
With the price of engines coming down , many enthusiasts were begging for "rollers" to hitch thier engines on. This new way of buying a scooter gives more people access to brand -new, high quality rides. I hope the trend continues.
Side Note: I'm alittle dissapointed in the price point of the new Superior HE230 ....$200 without carb and filter is going to wind up more than a brand new, bolt-on Zenoah G230RC . ($265 at most dealers) I guess my expectations were that the Superior engine would be significantly below the competitive price point .
Advice: Introduce the new engine at $199 complete and get some users to start talking about thier good experiences.

Dean: Don't forget that it will be cheaper thru Gss Daves or Schorchin. The price might be as low as $179.

Ahhhh..Thanks ...It escaped me for a minute that dealers would be discounting ....Makes much more sense to me now ...
Looks like a great engine and I hope it gains some momentum.

Many people that buy upgrade engines or Hybrid bolt ons, already have HP carbs. This way they are not getting a carb they already have. The engine comes with an HP Manifold, so all that is need is the carb which still leaves the engine that is comparable or better in quality sell for less than the G23RC. There are 4 or 5 different carbs being used on this engine. There are lots of spare carbs laying in the corner. The G23RC comes with a WT 603, which many people do not like. They prefer the WA-167 which is easier to adjust and has better throttle response. Then there are those that want an alcohol carb. Some people stick with the stock carb that comes on their scooter for a smooth economical power delivery. The Sikk Bike will have this engine with the stock GoPed sized Carb. There are lots of choices. At $199.00 I am sure you can come up with a carb for 30 or 40 bucks and be well below the best RC Price. Besides, RC's are very scarce these days. We are looking for some and cant't find any to buy. I am not sure that these guys that sell these engines so cheaply will be willing to sacrifice the engines they have left, as they will command a higher price due to limited availability.

The Superior Scooter Kit has been presented for several weeks now as the SSK Avenger. It is interesting that the part number on the PMW Website for ther scooter kit is SSK-001. They are also Black in color. Could PMW be buying Scooter Kits from Superior? You never know do you?

I really want to avoid any confrontation, but you are trying to start another rumor. PMW manufactures it's own genuine Go-Ped? kits.
BTW, SSK-001 stands for Super Sport Kit. We apologize for the unintended coincidence.
