Unfortunately, ADA has chosen to become a direct competitior to PMW who originated and manufactures Go-Ped Brand Scooters and related products. PMW is happy to compete with anyone, but not willing to advertise for, or directly help it's competitors.
ADA's choice to compete against these products then forced PMW to contractually withdraw ADA's Go-Ped dealership authorization.
I hope this helps explain that situation.

Kind regards,
Steve Patmont

That's what makes this country so great, competition and the freedom of choice. You can choose who to buy from, and who to sell to! I couldn't imagine living in a communist country and being told what to buy or sell.

At one time, ADA was arguably Patmont's largest reseller in the USA. We became their first official "distributor" that bought in volume and sold to other GoPed Dealers. Dealers told us they liked to order from us because of our better & quicker service. During that time, we were looking to expand our Scooter Business and after much deliberation, became BladeZ's first distributor. From that point on, PMW gave us such poor service on shipments and delivery that we decided we would have to go on without them. Our last order of Scooters from them was in December of 2001. It was a very large order and we had many of them sold for Christmas. I had a conversation on the phone with Steve P. and his sales manager promising me that they would ship the scooters before they shut down for Christmas so we could fill our Christmas orders. The order did not arrive until sometime in January. We became arguably one of their largest re-sellers in less than 1 year, and if they would have shipped what we needed, we would still be their largest customer. We stopped being their customer long before they "contracturally withdrew". We did not order any more Gopeds after December of 2001. I received one letter of cancellation from them just this month. We had to replace them as a supplier to perpetuate our thriving scooter business.

Sincerely,
