The HE23HP must not being doing to well right now. I just saw them on ebay for $177 buy it now. I also saw them starting off at a penny. I think i will wait until the price drops to $100 before i buy mine. Click the link below

Actually, they are doing very well. It's just that some dealers don't follow our MAP policy. Maybe ADA should just sell them direct for dealer price:)

This is the same dealer that cancelled an auction on a silencer because it didnt get bid as high as he wanted.
(thats what reserve auctions are for)
He directly violated the Ebay policy of cancelling an auction because he didnt get a price he wanted. Its called an AUCTION, that means you cant set the price, and once its on ebay you are OBLIGATED to sell it for the terms agreed on.
Shady seller for sure.

That may sound great to us customers, but not really fair to all the dealers that do follow the prescribed guidlines. Maybe it is time to just drop the 'hot potato'

Why would anybody pay $249.95 for the he23hp motor if they could go on ebay and get for $177. Is this because the he23hp motor is a cheap Taiwanese imitation of the g23orc? What is the difference between the he23hp and sikk toys motor?

:nono That is rather disrespectful. Comming onto this site and slamming one of their products. Certainly within your right, but not very smart and quite rude

I'm not trying to be disrespectful at all, all i wanted to know is why the motors are so cheap, i'm not "slamming" ada's products in any way
bmt49 (aka "sheriff Jon") please do post stupid assumptions, if i wanted your opion i would of asked for it, it doesn't look like you are an ada dealer what say do you have in anything??:bigl

He23Killer, you are listed as being only 11 years old, so it wouldn't be fair for me to debate with you. Your statement that the He23hp motor is a cheap Taiwanese immatation IMO was rude, considering that ADA sells this motor.
I am NOT a dealer, but I do use and like ADA products.

Yes, the Superior engines are lower priced than the Zenoah. So, just maybe Zenoah is overpriced?

The problem is that generally the dealers that are low-balling on eBay are also our dealers that purchase from us in rather large quantities. When they buy in large quantities, they get a better discount. But, instead of using it to their advantage to be more profitable, they sell cheap hoping to sell more. So, they are doing more work to make the same amount of money. Not very business smart:rolleyes:
But anyway, at those prices I'm sure they will be selling so many that there will probably be a supply shortage. We only have so many in stock!

I know what you mean. My family was in the car business for years. The biggest guy around, (not us) who sold the most cars/parts, could sell for less and still turn a profit. Didn't seem very business....fair  to all the other dealers. But I am sure the factory didn't mind.
