Here it is my green flybared gsr it has one of the craziest paint jobs ( really need to see it in person ) we have ever done and in true form it runs as good as it looks! The brake is a four piston billet caliper and the disc was custom made just for this bike. This brake is quite possibly the strongest brake in the bicycle industry and when you are going 60 mph. one thing is for sure you gotta stop sometime. The motor is one off meaning there is only one i have built and have plans to build more but work gets in the way of fun sometimes. All I can say is it is quite a thrill to go flying by cars on the road doing a wheelie. Well here are the pics i could find and lets just say for the list of mods .... i will tell you that all the Bling comes from ADA Racing and the Flybars ..well thats a given and the rear sprocket is PSWS and the motor all mine!! enjoy

Not running the Ada Gsr pipe? I found it to be alot stronger on top end, plus a 3rd powerband. And do I spy a reed?

Well I have to say that I like the gsr pipe but the series 2 is my fav. plus everybody said it would not work right so I left it on just to prove it does!
As far as how fast it is it does 60mph ( actually 59.8 mph/garmin gps) The best part of it is it still pulls whellies out of the hole and you can ride wheelies in excess of 40 mph!!
And no that is not a reed cage....sorry

688 carb :dunno:
ada tall vstack
ada series 2 pipe
9 tooth
72 psws sprocket
stock clutch spring
stock timing
stock ignition
New prototype Kenda tires
Just a couple cc's bigger that everyone else
LOOKS BONE STOCK loving that :dunno:
The stock ignition has a 12,500 RPM rev limiter, you're running 9, 72 gearing, you have 10" tires (like evrybody else). Do the math... you literally can't be going any faster then 46.475 mph. Please explain this.

Although I have much respect for Coast Ped I find a bit of the information you posted completely false. The disc brake caliper and rotor are manufactured, not one-offed, by Hope. The model of the brakes is the m4 and pictures of that setup, including that particular rotor, can be easily located on Google. The mount is custom but those brakes can be purchased by anyone. Nice color!

Yes and no...the brakes are from hope and so is the rotor however the rotor was custom made by a shop here in oc after the hope design...hope does not offer that rotor anymore ...so yes and no
Thanks for the props!
adasupporter is right.....:D

Bah... stock RC ignition isn't the same as a stock ignition (wrong engine).
Whatver, I'm over it...

I have nothing against coast ped.
This (60mph g43) has been brought up at a couple GPN threads and someone posted the link to this thread. I thought I would post my thoughts and try to get an answer. Calm down... I'll probably never post here again.

As a respected motor builder you are, I always try to read about what you are building. I saw on GPN a post where you said it was sligtly bigger in CC's than a stock g43.
I'm really cerious about whats done to that motor.
After looking at the pics it sure does look like the motor has a reed valve but you say it doesn't.
My guess is that you fitted a different cylinder on the motor.
Care to at least give out how many cc it is?
Anyways that scooter is a 10 out of 10.
BTW I love the red GSR Ruby you made. http://djsqiigles.freewebspace.com/photo.html

It's called "Green" ;) with envy Stuntfoot. People have a tendency to covet what they can't have. What keeps this thread hot and spicy is what they........don't know, and probably never will. Like the formula for Coca-Cola or Bush Baked Beans, highly guarded information, which makes for good business.

:nono :nono WTF you talkin bout boy. My scooter, your scooter, everybodys scooter is parked in the garage when we are not riding them. Don't mean they are........retired. Maybe it is time for a 30k, but it will be back ;)

Yes Allen is right it is parked in the garage and for now it has been "mothballed" and Brian you are too right it does need a 30k service. so for now it will stay parked and I have allready replaced it with a (less colorful) gsr40....true 40 this time nothing fancy but gets the job done.....Nightrain! Time to go night riding so the pretty and the fast get parked and the not so fast (not slow) gsr40 comes out with lights and such to go play in the "canyons" so be green or be jealous the "green machine" be parked for now......
