I Need Help!

i had an lh ADA headkit and i sent it to get ported and decked by SRE Racing
When i got it back i put it all together with a new short skirt piston
i tried to start it but it wouldn't go any farther than a certain point
well, i inspected the motor and found out that the piston was hitting the top of the cylinder and wouldnt go any farther

Could anyone tell me how i can fix this problem:confused:

Ouch. Might have been decked too much? Talk to SRE.

Running two base gaskets can possibly be a temporary fix.

i was also thinking of adding more head gaskets for my head kit
but ill try your idea!

I would talk to SRE and make sure he took off 20 thous. You may have to add a .15 copper gasket for the squish.

Oh, wait...I wasn't thinking. An extra or thicker copper headshell gasket would probably be better than an extra base gasket.

I talked to SRE and he said i had a g2d piston
and the pin height is way off so i put in my old piston and it worked fine
so its all good now
