There ar two movable pins on this tool. The center pin (partially exposed in the first pic) is used to drive the pin out of the chain and into the T-slot on the breaker. The outside right larger cupped pin is used to drive the pin back into the chain or put the chain back together. The pin in the center of the channel is used to properly locate the chain. To move the pins in or out you need a 4 MM allen wrench.

Remove the chain from the tool and make sure that it moves freely and there are no tight spots.

I have a couple of tats, but NO piercings for me
Oh wait.....I did pierce my ear back in 69, but I let it grow over shortly after.
