K no one really answered that question. They are completely different quads. The z is a tame trail oriented 4 stroke, the banshee is a screaming two. Stock vs. stock the top speed probably isn't too far off, but the banshee will get there at least twice as fast. Put some pipes on it and a cool head/mill the head/ada dome and that really really wakes em up. You want it to absolutely scream and get some porting done to suit where you ride. With those mods 70+ hp is very possible. If you want something that is super go fast and want to mod it out the banshee is the way to go. The z won't ever see anything above 40hp unless you put 8,000 in to it, and even then any 450 will beat it in every single way possible. It all depends on where you're gonna be riding and your skill level. Banshees are a handful thats for sure, but they will absolutely kill a z, and a 450 for that matter.

yes go with a banshee if you want speed i owned a z400 and it is a great quad it top's out at 55-60 mph and a banshee is 78-80 but if you get a banshee you can't go to your local gas station to fill up

I will put any banshee out there up against my GXR750 powered Quadzilla lol. 120hp at the crank. It's tore down getting bored out right now. Hopefully gonnna be up and running by the end of next month depending on finances.

My old atv engine builder has a Polaris 400 Stroked Big Bore Sport that would give that quad a run for its money or beat it dog. Those comet cvt's are insane no one can get the hole shot on them unless its another comet lol Banshees are the fastest ATV period due to the fact that they can rev higher and handle more power than any other 2 stroke atv engine ever produced. The big bore Suzuki 500 or Polaris 400 get to a point that anymore power will destroy the engine, mainly the cases and cylinder. My old Reed Converted Polaris Trailblazer 250 made 50 to 60hp and needed a actual cylinder girdle so the cylinder wouldn't break. People in the dunes would sometimes check my engine to make sure it was 250 when they got roosted by a chicks quad lol The current Polaris 400 I own shattered a piston lol

I'm debating on flow porting the head since its off. None of my spring compressors fit in there though so I might need to make one. Plus doesn't hurt to have the head decked just to be sure I won't have any issues. I very careful of how I remove a head but better safe than sorry. Thinking about some different mufflers too. Its running twin super traps.

Is there any reason why you chose a quadzilla as the base for the conversion?

Bought it from an auction already done. It was done nicely. The motor mount section of the frame completely unbolts and the motor just drops out the bottom of the rig. I will dig around and see if I can find some pics of it.
