  • Three years later, building Go Quad GP460 Live Axle. Old style seat and bars

Been a few black fridays and over three years of trying to pick up good parts but on the cheap. Got the frame July 2020 without a rear axle but sourced a live axle kit.

Finally yesterday I got it down to a welder. I am finally now working on it.

Toymaker clutch it, RC pull start, billet manifold, Reed kit, Gonads exhaust, billet pull, ADA mount/treated bell housing, ethanol-proof fuel pump for carb.

Cost list. I thought pricing was crazy expensive when I bought them but now new motors are almost $400. Probably a lot more now:

    New GP460 Motor $245
Go Quad Frame+live axle $500 (bought two new drive hubs, in plastic still)
New Bartolone Racing Reed kit $150
New Ada mount & new chromoly bell $170
    Toymaker clutch $65
    Exhaust $100
New Wheels, sprocket, gear, U bolt, etc. from DDM $162
    New 1.5L tank/lines/filters $50
At least another misc new $260 since took $60 to weld the axle and later adjust the brakes. Tons of new bolts, lines, bushings for seat, etc.

Somehow a few dollars each month over 36 months seemed not as bad. I will build it, if someone wants to pick it up for $1550, your choice of silver or black steering yoke.
