  • Goped GSR46 build

ok well i'm not sure if any of you guys saw the thread about my Goped GSR25/46 being stolen but anyhow, that happened in 2014 and i had plans to build a GTR watercooled tbh,i got really bummed out and just sold all the left over parts i had and got into building my Civic Si,but last week my son who is almost 9 yrs young asked me if i can build him a GSR25,so after thinking about it,i decided to build a GSR46 for myself first and then i will start on his ped.i am starting from scratch.so far i have a new uni frame, axles, spacers, ada handle bars,hd ftg, fender bracket & i just ordered a CIDLI retrofit front suspension, ddm race pole, ddm top handle bar mount, ada billet wheels, tires, gas tank, tank cover, ada tank hardware anodized blue(black was out of stock),rear fender & that's pretty much it for now,i will post pics as the parts come in.
i have lots of plans for this ped build.motor wise,i'm thinking either cy460, twin cylinder engine or watercooled engine.anyhow, check here for post updates.

Stick with the 460, or even a CP 470. Great simple fast motors. Can't beatem for the price.

more parts came in today.still waiting on the front cidli retrofit suspension,so i can install the race bar. Tomorrow i shpuld be getting my DDM 68T sprocket with hardware. On saturday,i will be getting the front cidli,so i will be putting on all the parts together and will continue to buy more parts as i go. I decided to go with the CY460 motor again but Since the cy460 clutches suck, ima be ordering a ToyMaker G43l/GSR40 clutch adapter soon! as for the pipe,i really don't like the dominator or the rhino,so i'm thinking of just going with a custom pipe,or retrofit one from the smaller zenoah engines, not sure how or which pipe to retrofit,so if you guys have any idea's,please lmk.thanks.

my front cidli suspension came in.feels like i'm rolling on a 70's cadillac lol smooth.glad i bought it! i installed the race pole but it still needs a bottom clamp, which their out of stock everywhere! so i left it off for now,i was trying to install the rear fender/gas tank and i realized i got the bolt too short,so i have to order the right axle bolt smh.as soon as i can,i will be ordering morw parts as well.

please excuse the background mess lol my girl's left their toys all around my ped lol.

my ADA Race deck and the 78mm clutch bell,Nachi bearing came in. I got to put the ped together,so it is now a roller.
still have to order the 78mm engine mount,TM 40 clutch adapter kit, brakes setup, which i'm having a problem with..smh will explain in a bit.also need the cy460 engine, that i will be getting fully ported & case stuffed by perkins port and get the fenders CarbonFiber hydro dipped or w e its called lol.a few more other peices like a pipe, filter etc..
ok,so the problem i'm having with the brakes is that i want to go with the MTB disk for the front rim.ddm is out of the skopod rotor adapter for the front, they only have for the rear, which is the same adapter, only they don't come with the spacers,so i was thinking of buying the rear skopod adapter and find someone who has the front skopod rotor adapter and could measure the spacers,so i can get some from the local hardware store and get them cut to the right size.
if anyone knows and could help me out,i'd really appreciate it.

got to put it together.it's finally a roller.on wednesday,i will be installing the 78mm PMW Billet engine mount but i might get it polished or anodized black along with the ADA Billet wheels to match the black frame also still waiting for DDM to stock up on race pole clamps,it looks to plain.then i need to order a throttle lever and MTB skopod 140mm brake setup and then the cy460 motor.after that,i wanna get a pipe but not sure which pipe to go with.looking more for top speed then torque.then i wanna either first get an ada 1+ mm crank setup with a HK and get the cylinder ported by possibly perkins porting or?but before i work on the engine,i will start building my son's Goped GSR25,as for the engine for his ped,i wanna get him the 26cc zenoah engine or maybe the 32cc zenoah with a 2+mm crank, not sure yet though cuz it might be too much power for my son.also after his build,my wife wants me to build her a ped as well, she wants something reliable and not slow, not super fast either so the GSR40 ped will be perfect for her.so i have a few peds i gotta build.
again ANY suggestions as to what custom pipe will work with little mod on my 460? i would appreciate it.

I NEED SOME HELP on my front brake setup.

ok,so today i ordered a skopod rotor adapter that i will be using for the front wheel.i will be ordering a 160mm alligator rotor and a AVID BB7 Caliper with an AVID brake handle lever but but now,i been reading that i will need a 180mm IS adapter for the rear? not sure exactly what to get because i went on ebay looking for adapters and i found some that say 180mm R and 203 F and many different ones.i also read that on some forks,i need a 20mm adapter,so i'm lost when it comes to these damn adapters lol as you guys already know from the pics i posted, that i am running a Front CIDLI Retrofit suspension/forks so can you guys tell me what adapter to get on ebay? thanks in advance guys.

It's either gonna be a 20mm adapter or a 40mm adapter. I'll check to see what I have on my ripper in a little. It has a skopod adapter with 160mm rotor.
