  • *** Ada 717 Water Routing ***

    Greetings Marv,

I have purchased (slightly used) one of your ADA Billet Heads/WaterJacket 39cc Domes for my 1996 HX SS 717.

What is the proper water routing through a ADA WaterJacket/Domes on the 717 engine ?

Domes--->Cyls--->Factory Pipe "Y" Manifold---->FPP Cast Exhaust Manifold---->Overboard through FPP 1/2" Fitting on FRONT of FPP casting AND 5/16" Fitting on "Belly-Pipe" ?

    --- or

FPP front 1/2" Fitting on FRONT of FPP Exhaust Casting fitting---------->FPP "Y" Manifold--->Cyls--->Domes--->Overboard through Tops of ADA Billet head (DOMES) ?

    --- or

FPP "Y" Manifold (Both Ex. Port Cooling Galleries 1/8" NPT Tapped into from underside)--->Cooling Water INTERNALLY split to Both FPP Cast Exhaust Manifold (exiting the FRONT 1/2"fitting----->Overboard) and Cylinders----->Domes-- >Exiting tops of Domes-------> Overboard ?

Any Engine/FPP Water restrictor Points//Sizes to consider ?

Can you send me a diagram of this preferred routing method ?

    Any Further Suggestions ?

    Thank You,

    David
