Yes you will. 43 Is down right Slow! If your good at tunning, 20MPH Max. The 47CC is on the "pocket Rockets" and those are the smallest moddel of the Bikes, and those down right SCREAM! They are Case induction Reed Motors. They do around 30mph if tuned right! The 49CC you can get to Just about or a hair above 25 if your Good at tunning. I THINK the x1's that have a orange engine cover are the 43CC motor. Ive tried and tried tunning them ( I work at a China Scoot Shop) and Have gotton very few past 20. Also ALL x1's from Pep boys, auto Zone, ETC are 43 CC. If your intersted in a Bike Just Let me Know.

        Confused

I have what I thought was an X-1 but it could be and X-2. It actually said Gl-4900, but I guess everybike is different. Umm I think mines a 49cc but it has the orange cover on the engine. For mods all it has is a ADA filter and Stack and it goes 35mph. Oh and it goes way faster than a Ninja style bike and those have the grey cover right? I have two friends with those Ninja Bikes and I pull on them low and top end.

          Not all are 43.

I have some orange engine covered units that are 47cc (as stamped on the motor)

We are also working on some engine swaps. Losing the Chitsubishi motors in favor of Tanaka and Active.

            about cover colors

You guys, i hate to burst your bubble but the cover colors do not change a thing about the motor. You are giving way too much credit to the Chinese manufacturers. Grey, orange or whatever, they are all the same. I got grey and orange out of the same container.

One of the guys that ports motors for me actually measured the cyl on a supposed 47cc and told me that it's a 41.5... maybe he made a mistake, but some how i do not think so. Anyway, the manual says 47cc so i'm selling them as such. Some manuals even say 49cc on reed motors...

For the weedwacker type engines, i do not know what the exact size is but i'm willing to bet they are not 49cc... probably 43. One of my customers blew a supposed 49cc engine on his cat eyes. I was out of them so i put in a 43cc. When he picked up the bike, i let him try it first. He loved it and could not see any difference. As a matter of fact, he thought it was going faster. He did not want to believe me when i told him it's a 43cc...

I have an X2 with CVT. I believe it has a 49cc motor. Orange cover, but I doubt it actually means anything.

With my fatass on it, at 25mph on my speedo, it clocked 23mph on a police radar. Say its around 8~10% off... I can get my bike, stock, up to 32mph. Legitimately, its around 29~30mph.

                    Message to PedHead

Listen, i have a TurboX2 49cc Ninja with that orange cover on the motor. When you said that it only goes like 30mph. That isnt true. My Cousin rode it and hit 40mph , and he weighs more than me. That means i will be hitting like more than 45mph. And his friend tuned the motor as well. And when i tune it myself, it will be faster plus the upgrades i will be putting on it. So ill be doing like 52-53mph on it. ANd the motor is a 49cc because it says it on the Frame! And when the ninja was stock it maxed out at 45mph. So, i just wanted to let you know that the frames of those Ninjas tell you the CC's.

The 49cc motor comment of only doing 25mph is wrong. I have an X2 with a 49cc motor. I have a few mods done to it, for example like pipe, filter, v-stack, carb., boost bottle and I have it up to 58mph on GPS
