  • Question about the Choke, low end acceleration etc.

Are you supposed to ride the bike with the choke all the way open? When i ride with it open, the acceleration in the beginning starts slow, and then after 15, it starts going faster. What can i do to change this? Do i adjust the low-speed needle? I am not sure what the problem is, but i want to wait for the engine to break in before i touch anything. It's really pissing me off now. I have to keep the choke almost closed but not all the way, and then when i ride i have to push it down for it to run right. What the hell is this problem!? PLEASSSSSE HELP!

How much do you weigh? How old are the clutch shoes? Has it been like this from day one? These bikes are never going to give you super take off... is that what your expecting?

remove the needle/slider assembly from the carb.. remove the needle. put the circlip in the lowest slot on the needle and replace.

      Now hang on!

Low end acceleration will improve by 200%!!

well i'll try that once my motor breaks in, but i thought i could just adjust the low speed needle cuz thats what i need right now. and to Buster, the bike is brand new so, and i don't weigh a lot, its not about weight or physics, the bike is just lagging up untill 15 mph then it takes off how the bike should take off!. When the choke is a little up the bike has very good acceleration but once it gets to 15 mph, it starts bogging
