  • Juicebox Carby Combo

Ok Brooks (and anyone else) I need some wisdom...

Got one of your juicebox carby combos. Now what? How does it fit?

Can't find any instructions for the combo, only for the juicebox alone or only for the carby alone. Does the juicebox replace the reeds or is it in addition to the reeds?

I assume you leave the reeds in along with the standard manifold, then add the spacer, juicebox, carby, etc. Am I right?

    Please help.

If you are trying to put this on the 47cc reed engine, then you got the wrong part. We do not make a Juice Box? for the reed engine. If you do actually have the 49cc, the instructions for the Juice Box? tell exactly how to install it, then the carb just bolts right on to it as the stock carb would.

The Juice Box? only fits this style of engine:

      J-Box

The samething happened to me. I got the 49cc lucky 7 bike off Ebay and before I received the bike I got the manifold and J-Box from ADA. When I the bike came it was a 47cc w/ reed, not a true 49cc. On Ebay some of the ones from China are true 47cc but, are sold as 49cc's.
Hey Brooks when will the pipes be ready? Will they fit the Full Fairings w/ bolt on swingarms?

I actually just talked with our pipe manufacturer today and they said they have the pipes stamped and they are welding them together. But, they are waiting on the core for the silencers and the cap. They expect those parts in next week. Then they need to finish welding them and ship them to use, then we have to finish the aluminum pieceson the silencer. We are making the outer aluminum body and the billet aluminum end cap for the silencer. So, it looks like about 2 weeks at this time. It sure has been a struggle to make a pipe!

Yes, the pipe will fit the full fairing witht he removable swingarm, we have one of them in our shop as well as one of the 1st generation 47cc pocketbikes. It will fit both.

Sorry to everyone for the delay on the pipes

Hmm thats interesting. I was at PR's workhop yesterday and they had this very setup mounted on a 47cc chinese reed valve engine. They had the black manifold bolted to the case, then the white adapter bolted to that, then the juicebox, then the carb and filter. Aparently they had problems with air leaking from the bottom of the manifold.
At any rate I'll be making a custom manifold for Fred's bike in the next few day's. We'll let you know the outcome.
Minus juicebox ofcourse, now we know what the go it with them.
            Thanks Brooks .
