I just gutted the pans and bought cheap controllers on Amazon.
I just found a place online to buy 36v 4.4 packs for 30 shipped.
4 of them in parallel is what I'm going for now in both.i don't care about charging individually
      So will work for me.
The 36v 20ah fits perfect in my ezip 1000 so I'm leaving in it.

Wow genius. The LiFePo4 in SLA form factor drop in units are way more expensive. Any details on the controller or wiring it up?

Pics of the batteries and such would be cool too.

Nice set up. Could you please share the links to the parts because I'm really interested in setting one up for my Hoverboard.

I took a week off to finish up my kitchen so I'll take some good pix and links tommorrow.really simple
The sport I put back to 24 because it's to...not unsafe but don't like going that that fast on hard tires.
To easy to unload on the power.its freaking crazy how it pulls with the 25-52 gearing.
It'll smoke any other ped I have even my reeded peds up to 40 or so.
I'll get a neighbor to video for me this week.
I'm looking for packs like these but at 27-30v at the same price value as these samsung cells.25 dollars a piece shipped
Same battery in those little balance boards that were catching on fire.
Just bought 4 more of these for a bike wheeled rock-hill-trail 4 wheel thing I'm trying to get together to run back in the woods with.

                          Jk.

Been setting 6x6x16 for the last couple days by myself.
Actually have all paralleled and wired up.just forgot to take pix.
Next time I pull the deck Ill take a few.
Any of the cheaper 36v controller/throttle combos are good.they only push 30 amp so won't even heat up the torkinaters.and are pretty good with reliability.

I picked 4 out of the 12 I ordered that were closest to resting voltage so when I paralleled them up they would
Hopefully stay close if no cell failures.
The 4.4 Ah packs have built in balancers so I'll see how it goes.
Went on a 7mile run starting at around close to 42.3v -let sit for a few minutes when I returned.
                            39.2v when leveled out...
Putting back up to 25/ 98 gearing ,the range no problem now.

Cool where did you buy the packs? I would like to create the same setup as a test. My goped controller keeps cutting out but not sure if that is the BMS in the lifepo4 packs or not.

Are you still using the goped charger? What about the throttle?
