  • I need help with my goped super bigfoot

Hello i am new to this forum (Actually my first post!)

I am new to the whole goped scene but not completley stupid

I have been doing tons of research on my goped which i purchased from craigslist and have learned lots of new stuff but i really wanted someones input
    who has done this

It seems to me that the guy made a custom bracket made from aluminum that holds the lockdown in place because he added a clutch and the plate between the clutch and the spindle has a hole in it as you can see in the video below

What i need is someones help on what i need to buy to make it right again

According to my research i will most probably need the 3rd bearing support http://www.davesmotors.com/ADA-BF-SB...t-GPBFBSK.html
Is that the correct one? it also says in the website that i will need a certain adapter and also a spindle for the new bearing
Will i be able to install that 3rd bearing support with my clutch and that hole in the plate that i showed in the video??

BY THE WAY engine is cy29

thanks again for all the help very sorry for my horrible writing and i hope this makes sense LOL

ANY INPUT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED !!

I wan to start tearing her down and rebuilding!!

(YES I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A GSR I KNOW IM WASTING MY MONEY ON THIS)
I HAVE READ ALOT OF THREADS ON THIS SITE LOL
I want to get a GSR when i complete this build

Hello thank you for the reply it is greatly appreciated

The guy I bought the goped from I asked him why he reinforced the lock out

      And he told me this

"No i reinforced the lockout because the original mounting holes are shot"

Maybe I should start taking it apart to see what's really wrong with it ?? I can also put pictures up of it disassembled

      Thank you for your expertise

If that lock down is all I need I will order it now

There is a plate (spacer idk) between the clutch and the spindle that u was trying to show in the video but it was really hard to shove camera right there but u could kinda see it

I see a hole in the plate and I think it's where the original lock out is supposed to thread in to

Bigfoots are not a waste of money. They are great beginner air tire rides, and I have seen a few that are pretty damn fast. I say get it running right, and ride the hell out of it. When it is no longer fast enough, sell it for a GSR.

Mr. Tea said it, you have all the prime goodies. The clutch is a huge plus for sure.

The parts he linked will get you dialed in.

Do you know the name of the plate so I can order a new one

Does anyone know the name of the plate between the spindle and the clutch is on my super Bigfoot with cy29 engine(with clutch and 3rd bearing support installed)

I posted a picture of it below and circled the part with blue marker I know it's kind of hard

I need someone's help who has done this before

Oh my God I think the plate that is broken on my GoPed is the third bearing support I thought the third bearing support is one piece but I think it is two pieces and there is a plate on the back so I think I have to order a whole new 3rd bearing support or if I can just find that one plate on the back of the third bearing support I would be good

SBF uses this to marry to the 3rd bearing

The hole on the 3rd bearing support where that adaptor connects to mount the lockout is completely shot the plate has a chunk out of it where the hole is so I think I will need a whole new 3rd bearing support unit so I can have a nice hole to mount the adaptor

So I need 3rd bearing support
The adaptor and the original lockout

But I wonder if I can get away with only using the adaptor and put it in the shot hole

I think the hole got messed up from him just installing the regular lock out with out the adaptor

Thank you Mr tea that helps sooooooo much
