  • Which engine do I have?

Hi folks, I wonder if you guys could help...
I have just picked myself up a goped trail ripper after selling my previous scooter and wishing I never did.
Anyway I've been reading a bit online after buying the GTR and it says about the earlier models coming with the gp42 engine I believe rather than the GP46.
Is there any way to tell the difference?

I will take pictures tomorrow when I'm in the workshop

Measure the piston and report back. Either way they are both good engines.

      Thanks for the response
I was hoping there might be a way without stripping it down, I read somewhere that the 42's had a billet motor mount and the 46's had a cast one.
