I have a sport and the kill switch on the handlebar had to be replaced. It formerly had the G23LH engine. But when I try to connect it to one of the metal tabs on the magneto of the G290RC, It won't start or get spark. When I put it on the other terminal on the magneto it does nothing. Its a new G290RC motor but I want to be able to use the kill switch on the handlebars. Problem is the one the motor came with has two wires. I need to know how to adapt it to the single wire setup on handlebars. Any help is appreciated.
