ISA Mesa Race - Pics and Comments

Check out the pictures from the 1st day of racing in the Pictures section. They are from the ISA Mesa race on Saturday March 13th. I will be taking more today and should have them posted tonight.

Sunday's pictures are up!

Racing was good. But, Pro class was disappointing with only 1 race for each class. So, that's $75 for a single race. Granted there were not a lot of entries, 7 in Pro Sport?, but they still could have run 2 motos.

Also, it's kinda funny how people go on about pipes, but the Series 1 still seems to be the pipe of choice, especially with the Pros. The Series 1 was on the top 4 Go-Peds? in the Pro Sport? class. It seems the top engine builders prefer the Series 1!

Some people I would like to mention:

Thanks to Jason from Coast Ped for building the fastest peds and running a great race team! I still can't figure out why he does it! It's a lot of work and very stressful. But without Jason, there would be no ADA Racing team.

Thank you Howard Combee for helping Jason out and having such a fast kid!

Great job Kurt Schupe for racing fast and having a great attitude and being someone that all the up and coming racers can look up to.

Way to go Brian Combee, he's fast and smooth and all the Pros better watch out!

Al and Anthony from Tri-Power, they are the some of the best guys I've ever met! Plus, I finally got to meet Momma Kat! They make you feel like family! It was great to see their riders do so good. Congratulations to Travis Shaw for a great win!

Steve aka sick-fast, it was great seeing you at the races. Keep it up and good luck!

I also ran into: Larry from Meyer, running around taking pics like, me. Greg aka Peaks from Peak Performance Peds, he couldn't wait to get back to the coldness of Flagstaff!? I met Scott from Scott's Motorsports, gave him a tour of our new shop on Friday. I got to say hi to both Steve and Tim Patmont, working away in the hot Arizona sun. I may have forgot others, but my memory is horrible!

A big thanks to everyone running ADA Racing? parts on their Go-Peds? and scooters. I am amazed by the number of racers using our products. Thanks again everyone!!!

Mesa Race Comments......

First off Thanks to the WHOLE ADA Racing crew for getting us to the races this weekend and to Marv for his support!!
Also nice to see that Maggie came out to cheer us on...(or was that cheers)

I have to say that Brian and Kurt had their work cut out for them, coming out riding brand new scooters and motors is no easy task! Breaking in the motors and tuning for each riders style is time consuming and sometimes a chore and they came to the race ready to take all this on. I on the other hand had my work cut out as well and thanks for to our pros for making life easier on me with the right input and good adittudes!!

Would like to thank the Superior Job Team ADA did at the first ISA Race. Thanks to the Superior job racers, Kurt, Brian, JB and all the other racers running Superior Engines and Components. Thanks to Jason Fisher, ADA's Race team Manager and Howard Combee for turning the screws on the race scoots. I really enjoyed the Pro Sport Race most of all. That is the Premire Class of scooter racing. Hitting those jumps with those hard tired scooters takes skill and ....s.
