  • Jumping on the Goped bandwagon

I was texting dawman about MD billet decks and he asked what MD meant. He researched and its a CnC company that I assume jumped on the Goped bandwagon. He said they make all kinds of stuff possibly stuf for space. Like UMI racing traditionally a jetski parts company.

Which reminded me so is ADA from what I gather. And thank God for that. Thy are propping us up!

MLC stand for Mission Lawnmover Center (or lawn care I forget) and they must have got in on it also.
JN Innovations was a dirk bike shop near Sac

What are some other companies that jumped on the Goped bandwagon?

So there are a lot of ped parts outfits that also do rc car stuff. I'm not og enough to know which and who did what when and weather they did Goped stuff first or after. Like ddm

Correct, Jetpro was a pipe manufacturer company that made pipes for other applications. I dont know if jetpro spawned off specifically for gopeds but the original company started in the 70s or 80s. I beleive Jetpro was doing pipes for Jetskis and other 2 stroke applications. According to Dino at Jetpro, they were the first to ever put a pipe onto a goped. I'm sure there are contradicting stories out there and it would be pretty tough to verify.

Engine Trix made some jetski stuff as well along with other items. There were also some other companies that made aerospace pieces that got involved into gopeds which tied in with ET in the 90's. The jetski sector is a major contributing (arguably THE contributing) factor for Goped racing and development expanding at the accelerated rate seen in the 90's and early 00's. This all points back to why AZ became the meca of Go-Ped even though California was the originating state.

The history of these emerging and evolving companies during their goped production journey is really interesting history for several.

The G43L was an engine made by zenoah used on redmax equipment like the AG4300 Auger and also used in some backpack blowers along with some trimming equipment

The 460 was designed specifically for scooter application.

Another Bandwagoner is Sidewalk Surfer and a little further east you also have Zero Error.

What else did/does sidewalk surfer make besides ped parts?

Zero error makes performance bobsled and junior dragster products

TGN (Team GoNads) I believe Mark, a scooter enthusiast, started out in the early days of gopedding making parts just for GoPeds like the X-Can and Fly Bars. But has since moved on to the more lucrative RC market. So I guess one could say they have....jumped off the GoPed bandwagon.
