  • Billet Gas Cap: big tank=small tank

I was curious if the a Billet Gas Cap would fit both the regulare sized tank, and the 1.3 tank of the GSR?

I have heard that they will not fit, and wanted to know what everyone else knew.

If they do NOT fit, how do I go about buying a Billet cap for my 1.3 tank on my GSR?

    Thanks,

    chris

If it is the stock tank that come with all Gopeds, it will fit. And to clarify a little bit, The small tanks are 1 Liter and the large tanks are 1.5 liter.

      Gas Caps

Engine Trix will only fit the white tanks
ADA will fit white and black tanks
Have not found one that fits the gray tanks yet

No offence, but you obviously do NOT know what you are talking about.

Thanks for the clarification, brain fart over here

I have a GSR40, and need a Billet cap to fit the 1.5L tank.

What is all this talk about ET caps, vs. ADA caps, and different color of tanks

Sounds like I need to buy an ADA billet cap huh Slimcandy428?

Again, thanks for all the help,

ada's billet gas cap will fit your 1.5L tank... the opening size of the gas tank is the same size(the part you screw your cap on) as the rest of the tanks. ada's caps are "universal" for all go-peds.

LOL, they're just gas caps. ALL aftermarket billet gas caps fit ALL PMW tanks, that's it, nothing else needs to be said.

Actually, you are incorrect Accord. I bought an ET gas cap for my 1.5L GSR tank, and it did not fit. I talked to DDM about it, and Dale confirmed that the ADA cap will fit both, but the ET cap will only fit the 1.0L tanks. ET is supposed to be releasing a newer style cap to fit both.

I think that I will just go with the ADA cap, as it is known to work.

Just wanted to pass along some personal experience.....not trying to criticize Ya' .
