I don't know why but i thought I installed the carb correctly but there's alot of tension.. like i can't get the full pull from my throttle. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have or know of a pic with it correctly installed? Thanks!

what exactly is binding or catching or sticking, and where. mine did this to if thats what it is doing. if it is the same situation there r 2 things u need to do.
there is a screw type thing that goes on to the carb bracket, and the throtle cable goes through it. try messing with it"screwing it up and down" till the swivle gets full range of motion and is not sticking.
2nd there is not enough slack of ur cable and its pulling and makeing the cable bind. pull or work as much exsess slack as u can from the entire length of the cable till u reach the carb, and it should not bind. and if this is ur prob put a zip tie and the frame to hold the cable in place so it does not slide back again "this happend to me while i was going down hill and my throtle stuck"
hope this helps
and use trimming as ur last option, if u take to much off u will have to buy new cable because u will not be able to reach full throtle.Last edited by motoxracer; 03-29-2004, 09:12 PM.to goped.... or not to goped.... that is the questionComment

On my G260RC, my linkage on my carb was hitting my shroud. I took a Dremel and trimmed it down a bit...problem solved.Comment
