  • broke the ada s1 bf braket

today i was riding and jumped and did a no footer, the braket was fine, then later i hit a pothole and noticed my pipe was really loud, look back and my braket is snapped and dangling, i was pisses, ada why did it snap? im wondering, because the baket says its for extreme aplications, i dont think a pot hole is extreme.and can i get a new one for free?, i cant post ics, my digi isnt working

Thats why you run a Can. Pipes are annoying, I rarely ever run mine.

Just make a New Mount, Go pick Up some steel plate, bend it in a vice, make a templet of all your holes out of cardboard, paper, ETc, drill your holes and there ya go. I broke the mount to my old series one, went to my Local Metal warehouse, Hotmetals, and Bought 3 feet of 1/4th inch thick, and I think it was one inch wide, and it like $5.

jumping is hard on pipes..since you were doing no footers earlier, it could have cracked and when you hit the pothole it finally broke loose.

I broke mine on a sport though. Just found a piece of think metal with convieniently place holes in it so no drilling besides in my frame.

Which one?, ive never had any problems with even the stock s1 braket, but I have the one that instead of one long skinny thing its kind of big and screws into 2 holes in the motor and its really strong if you know what im talking about.

Just last month, I was riding down the street at 15mph and my ADA BF pipe bracket snapped in half. I then bought a "The Works" pipe mount.
