If your running 115 octain, might as well get the 17:1. 15:1 only req. 105 octane.

More compression won't hurt the motor as long as you are are no lower then 2 or 3 points for the specified octane rating. You won't notice a huge difference but If you have the 115 octane fuel already, might as well run the highest dome you can for that octane.
