XLR8R is asking because I was going to ship a goquad (roller) to him, but the price of shipping was more than we expected. We went back and forth and came to another agreement.

I wanted to post up a picture of my quad packing skills. It was pretty thick cardboard and wasn't very plyable, but this is what I ended up with. If I did it again, I might try thinner cardboard and an extra layer, so I can mold the cardboard to the goquad, but keep durability. Finish with overlapping shipping tape, corner to corner to corner to corner....

To help out future members looking for an estimated price on shipping a goquad roller(no motor)...

To ship a 42lb package of large size, from FL to WA(clear across the country), FedEx quoted $200. UPS quoted $275. I didn't even attempt USPS....

On large items, Greyhound has always offered the most inexpensive shipping costs. May be worth a try....

I never heard of greyhound. Just looked it up. I got 2 near me....70 miles north and south of me. I'll try to remember them next time.
