    **** yeah, congratulations G!

I own three peds, they are all 40 frames. Well they were 40 frames before my grinder made work of them. Best chassis to build a bad as ped from the ground up.

Are you looking to keep this ped "stock"?

Nooooo! Don't do it. Mod your other peds.

Leave it stock & mint. Looks great & getting harder to find without re production parts.

Ok ok. If you can't resist modding something. Maybe a bothy fork

I have to admit, the stock 40 is an excellent ped to have in the arsenal.

I love my TSI with the Pac Sales cruiser pipe, super quiet and runs low 40's. Perfect city cruiser that always draws attention downtown. Good attention, not like Skopod G62 with a Speed Werx pipe and 6" stinger attention.

You don't have to cut it up, you can go super stock with bolt ons.

I feel like im not ruining it if i go with ... a bothy fork, TGN pull start handle, tank cover, gas cap, jet pro (will 3' K&N fit with that pipe) and new style gsr40 bars maybe ill mess with the sprocket a bit not sure.. what do you think of the plans for it .. I am keeping it stock red but will have it repowdercoated couple of scuffs under the engine if i want to put the serial number back on .... i guess i can carefully lift it with a pin...

Its terrible! I bet you couldn't get 30 dollars for that old scoot. Tell ya what, I will take it off your hands for 40. But for real, good find & clean ride! Well done

Best ped to own. Best ped to mod as well. Takes upgrades without affecting engine longevity. Only peds that I have in the personal fleet are 40 frames. Only peds I plan to do anything with future wise are 40 frames. Even if you leave completely bone stock, go with Mad Dog brakes at bare mininum and ADA chain tensioner.

Congratulations on the getting the best!!

Good catch, I did not study the pics that closely and the mad dog frames are so much harder to come by that I figured she had a pre md set up. An ADA tensioner is the only thing I would see as a necessity if all else is good.

                            40 all cleaned up

few more pics of it all cleaned up with the maddogs!! (that's not tire shine they were wet) ... I think the stock deck looks really fresh, a friend of mind has an engine trix silver tribal deck ... will it fit the GSR40 ...I was told all decks that fit bigfoot's will fit on 40's . Just ordered a red n black tank cover, polished gas cap, gunmetalTGN pull start handle, 3' K&N, new levers, new stock grips, 76 tooth sprocket, new chain, braided carbon fiber throttle left n right break line, red and black fuel line, filter n brass nipple and a foot of red line for venting, new deck hardware , and new pullstart( hopefully for when i acquire a 40 decal If i do )Waiting on getting the jetpro wraparound bothy forks (red out of stock ) and TS bars.

I prefer the pre Mad Dog frames myself, but I'll cut up either one.

Looks very clean, nice work. Keep those pics coming, no where but up from here.
