hey guys i bought a sport for 20 bucks but it doesnt look like it has the g23lh. it does not have the angle plug like the lh on the head and the flywheel cover is deeper the the lh.im really wondering what kind it is.
How can i tell which engine my scooter has?
Most peds manufactured since 1995 use the Zenoah G23-LH engine. New, "Super" Gopeds use the Zenoah G23ORC. Geo-Gopeds use the Zenoah GZ25N14. The GSR40 uses the Zenoah G43LD. Here are pictures of these engines.
G34LD: G23LH: Geo engine: G23ORC:
Although if made before 1995 it may use the Zenoah G2D engine. This is easily identified because the fancover has ZENOAH stamped into it above where the pullstart goes.
its hard to tell because there is only has half of a pullstart cover its a got no coverings but it runs would the g2d be better then the lh i know that the rc is
it doesnt have the stamp on the pullstart cover the kid found it today when he was cleanin stuff up. it looks to be an rc it doesnt have any covers but the pullstart one and it had the stright plus not angled. the rc is better then the lh right?
