  • Is this air filter good

Is this air filter good, it's the "Air Filter - Superior Red", i have a stock Go-Ped Sport, with an G23LH Engine (pretty shure), do you think it's a good air filter, because later I'm going to get a better engine
and do I have to get those Velocity Stack, or would it fit just like that
    thanks ahead

yes that is a good filter and yes you NEED the vstack to install the filter

And I have another problem, it takes my scooter alot of time to turn on, when you do pull-start, would replacing the spark plug make it faster to turn on, would it also improve the push-start time?

All its going to do is Make it Louder. You'll think youll be going faster because its louder, but its all in your head.

              No

You will NOT see any difference in performance.
              They are all for looks.

they are only too restrictive for rc motors, yours is fine, get a new spark plug, and maybe new rings, depending how old themotor is.

That's not entirely true. What you are saying is only true in the sense of PMW. When PMW ships engines on their models they come with the "LH" style dual element filter. That particular setup can be a little restrictive to the RC engines (and any modified LH). Removing one of the elements is always a good idea, and on the RC's or any other motor for that matter investing in a low profile Zenoah filter (the kind that ship stock on RC motors for 1:5 scale use) for only $8 is an excellent idea.

Once again some are missing the true benefits of an aftermarket filter.

1, there IS a performance change with a V-stack, so just in the simple fact that you use a V stack when you install a filter you may feel a difference.

2, there IS a substantial maintenance benefit from an aftermarket filter. Stock filter media is SMALL. Aftermarket filters usually offer 10x more media area meaning you have to clean it 10x less. For Pedders who usually NEVER clean their filters this IS a performance enhancement

UNI, K&N, Superior: Which is better? All aftermarket filters when clean perform the same. Dirty filters however change the performance a lot.

My personal preferrence? UNI. Why? Because they are spring loaded, and if you bump or crush them they just pop back into shape. I havent seen a gauze filter be able to do that yet.

That and the fact that your UNI filters look drop dead sexy.

yes, your right, but removing one of the elements can cause the foam to move forward and leave the intake holes uncovered causing dirt particles in your motor. and i would say that the low profile is good, but im all into the bling, LOL
