Run any good 2-stroke oil such as Maxima, Bel-Ray, etc. Mix it at 32:1. Carb settings depend on what carb you have. If this is going on a G230RC/HE23HP then your previous settings should be fine for breaking it in. You do not need to run it richer than normal for break-in. Run it at the settings that the carb would normally run at. Run it for about 10-15 minutes at no more than 1/2 throttle varying the throttle. Let it cool down for 10-15 minutes. Then repeat for the first tank of gas. Do the same thing for the 2nd tank of gas, going full throttle but for no more than a couple of seconds. Check you plug color during the cool down period, making sure it is not running too lean(white). On the 3rd tank make sure that your carb is tuned correctly and ride it normal.

YES because if you put the hp one on there to break it in if you dont have the right settings u will seize your engine and its very easy to seize using a hp carb to break a motor in!!!

If by stock carb you mean the stock G23LH carb then no. Do not use the stock G23LH carb, it is too small and doesn't have any adjustment.

            proper go-ped break-in

I find this the best way to break in a go-ped engine. I use caster 927 at 25:1 with a full tank. You see caster 927 is petroleum based oil and will allow for more engine wear. This is why you don?t use synthetic for break in.ok now you start and run the engine until it gets to operating temp. (About 2 min.) Go around the block or something. Then let it cool down (about 20 min.) You need to do this 3 times. After that run the engine up to the power band (about 5,800 rpm) DO NOT STAY IN THE POWER BAND. Let off at about 8,500 rpm. Do this over and over until you have run the whole tank of gas. This may take a couple of days but it?s worth it. After that I run amsoil; its fully synthetic at 50:1 I know that seems thin but this oil is incredible it lubricates at 50:1 better than a petroleum oil at 25:1 so what that means is you have more fuel to burn and you guessed it more power and less friction. I know amsoil is more money but when you really look at it its not because it costs about $10.00 a qrt but that qrt. Will make 16 gallons of gas! Wow
