Is your scooter from Tijuana? With all the factors you said you probably broke it in wrong. I would get rid of it.

I dont mean just throw it away. I mean trade it in for another or sell it and use that money to buy another... just start new because something is really rong with that scooter.

You still dont sell it towards a new ped. FIX IT! Im willing to bet its the piston ring. When I run my series one on my modded 230RC itll easily spank a 260 or any sikk motor, but then about a week later of riding it hard itll get spanked by a stock sport, just because the piston ring is TOAST. By then its really easly to just turn the motor over by hand lol.

Prolly 'cause you have Sikk parts on your engine Just playin. Is your carb tuned correctly? Also, this is not likely the problem, but how are your wheel bearings? One time my were almost frozen and it was slowing me down a bit.

If its not the tire causing the vibration, you might wanna tear down the engine to see if it's alright.

Your friend is kinda crazy running a G23LH carb on his G230RC.

I settled this problem a long time ago I got a 35mm slippery nickel piston and let my motor idle for 3 tank fulls of mixed gas it runs way faster.

The proper way to break in a new piston and ring is to actually put a load on the motor and run about a tank-tank 1/2. Running through 3 tanks at idle with no load is not the proper way.

If that's what he told you to do, then he is very misinformed.

Did he really say idle it for 3 tanks of gas?
